Beacon Guides Guarantee Trust Life in Double Upgrade

FRAMINGHAM, MA – October 28th, 2014 — Beacon Services and Guarantee Trust Life have successfully completed a 9.2 PeopleSoft upgrade of FSCM applications. GTL is a mutual life, accident, health, credit life, and special risk insurance company headquartered in Glenview, Illinois. GTL upgraded from version 8.8 to 9.2, requiring a double upgrade. Highlights of the project included:

• Revising the Chart of Accounts structure
• Significant data conversions/mapping/validation
• Undoing a significant number of customizations
• Revamping security
• A new implementation of eProcurement
• A custom Essbase application integrated with PeopleSoft and LifePro for Agent Commission reporting

Guarantee Trust runs PeopleSoft on SQL Server.
