FRAMINGHAM, MA, August 29, 2011 -- Beacon Application Services Corporation, a leading integrator of Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Applications and provider of software tools for managing PeopleSoft applications and environments, today announced Ed Burt will take over the role of BEAM Practice VP.
New Responsibilities
In this position, Ed will be responsible for and manage all support and consulting for BEAM customers, as well as provide and oversee technical pre-sales support. Additionally, Ed will work to provide training to Beacon consultants and managers as he works to build additional capacity with a dedicated BEAM consulting staff to meet customer demand.
Background
Ed is well positioned for this role as he has over 30 years of financial application software experience including almost 20 years of PeopleSoft experience. Ed has completed numerous PeopleSoft implementation and upgrade projects with responsibility for all project phases, including: project planning, prototyping, design, construction, deployment and maintenance. Ed’s unique combination of technical and application expertise, leadership skills, and extensive hands–on experience has been integral to the success of Beacon projects.
