Beacon and IMF Complete PeopleSoft Upgrade Project

 FRAMINGHAM, MA – February, 2015 — Beacon Services and the International Monetary Fund, based in Washington, D.C., have successfully completed an upgrade of the Fund's financial systems, migrating to PeopleSoft 9.2.

Created in 1945, the IMF is an organization of 188 member organizations. Its primary purpose is to ensure the stability of the international monetary system. Beacon Services is an Oracle Platinum partner, specialized in the implementation and upgrade of PeopleSoft Financials in the fInancial services industry and the public sector.

This PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade project involved an upgrade from version 8.9. The applications included General Ledger (with Committment Control), Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Project Costing, Expense, and Purchasing. The Fund runs PeopleSoft on Oracle.
