PeopleSoft Systems Administrator

As the Systems Administrator you will be working within the I.T. Department planning, developing, and maintaining Beacon's internal computing and PeopleSoft systems. Responsibilities will include:

  • ­Installing, configuring and maintaining PeopleSoft development and test environments
  • ­Leading system maintenance (PeopleTools upgrades, bundles, tax updates, fixes, etc.)
  • ­Monitoring system performance and administering services for all PeopleSoft environments
  • ­Providing general system administration support and maintenance on a variety of platforms
  • ­Supporting both the development team and consulting organization; occasional client contact as needed
  • ­Supporting internal end-users; troubleshooting problems related to the desktop, database, and applications
  • ­Assisting in establishing and maintaining operational procedures including scheduled backups, remote access, space management, performance tuning, and system availability

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ­5+ years experience in a computing environment
  • ­3+ years of experience supporting/administering PeopleSoft Financials/HCM
  • ­Experience with PeopleTools Installation and administration and Integration Broker set up
  • ­Experience with planning and execution of migration controls and PeopleTools technical upgrades
  • ­Knowledge of Windows 7, Server 2003/2008, Exchange 2010, Office 2007/2010, SharePoint 2010, and Microsoft Failover Cluster are preferred
  • ­Ability to install and maintain RDBMS (Oracle 11g & SQL 2008 [clustered and un-clustered] preferred)
  • ­Knowledge of Lenovo and Dell desktop environment including, but not limited to software installation, hardware set up, etc.
  • ­Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science or telecommunications
