BEACON APPLICATION SERVICES NAMED PREFERRED PARTNER BY PEOPLESOFT INC.’S FINANCIAL BUSINESS UNIT

Firm to Offer Specialized Consulting Services to Financial Institutions

(June 1, 1998) - Beacon Application Services Corporation announced a strategic alliance naming Beacon a preferred provider of implementation and integration services for PeopleSoft’s Financial Services Business Unit. A leading integrator of PeopleSoft enterprise software solutions and an Inc. 500 company, Beacon has been a member of the PeopleSoft Global Alliance Program since its inception in 1993.

"We are excited about leveraging our expertise in both the financial services industry and PeopleSoft applications by working even closer with PeopleSoft. Working with PeopleSoft’s Financial Services Business Unit, Beacon will expand its offerings in strategic consulting and software implementation services for insurance, banking, asset management, brokerage, and other financial institutions. In turn, PeopleSoft will provide additional assistance in growing Beacon’s expertise in new product offerings and strategies, joint marketing opportunities, and other areas.
